Central to this mission is our in-house Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Educator (CE), who plays a vital role in bridging the gap between advanced wound care technologies and supporting best practices in grafting.
As a Certified Wound Specialist, our CE provides comprehensive, best practice education on LCD guidelines, documentation requirements, ensuring providers are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for success in the field. Our CE’s work also includes conducting detailed chart audits, fielding clinical questions related to graft application and best practice protocols. When necessary, we provide on-site support to enhance provider proficiency. Additionally, our CE contributes to the leadership of retrospective and prospective case series and clinical trials, driving continuous improvements in wound care.
Our ultimate goal is to empower providers to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining adherence to best practices and regulatory guidelines.
