THE DERMABIND CH PROCESS
DermaBind CH® is processed using a proprietary method that preserves the natural scaffolding proteins of the chorion tissue for covering oral mucosal. Ethically sourced from pre-screened mothers under strict FDA standards (21 CFR 1271 & Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act), our process carefully isolates and purifies the chorion layer, removing blood components while maintaining its extracellular matrix. Controlled dehydration and terminal sterilization (SAL 10^-6) yield a ready-to-use, physician friendly allograft for dental applications.
KEY ADVANTAGES FOR CLINICAL USE APPLICATION
DermaBind CH® Chorion Membranes are designed specifically for dental applications, our membranes offer a secure, efficient barrier for a multitude of procedures. Ready-to-Use: No trimming, orientation, pre-hydration, or suturing required pressure injuries.
COMPOSITION
DermaBind CH is composed of natural chorion membrane tissue—the inner and outer layers of the amniotic membrane—that protect the mother and fetus from immune reactions and infections, absorb shock, prevent adhesions, and regulate temperature. These tissues are rich in collagen, with the chorion featuring types I, III, IV, V, and VI, ensuring robust structural support and bioactivity.

APPLICATION
Can be placed over or under other membranes, mesh, or palatal tissue; safe for direct contact with implant and root surfaces. Adaptive Conformation: Conforms to complex wound surfaces and fully resorbs over time. Convenient Storage: Maintains sterility at ambient conditions with a 3-year shelf life. Preparation & Placement: Using aseptic technique, remove DermaBind CH® from its packaging. The membrane is ready-to-use and does not require trimming, pre-hydration, or orientation adjustments. Gently place the membrane onto the treatment area—whether addressing periodontal pockets, gingival recession, or alveolar ridge preservation—to ensure it conforms to the complex wound surface and maintains intimate contact with the target site.
SIZE & STORAGE
Fixation & Dressing: While the flexible nature of DermaBind CH® often eliminates the need for suturing, secure the membrane using your preferred fixation method if desired. Once in place, proceed with any additional regenerative or protective measures, such as applying a non-adherent dressing or other secondary dressings tailored to the clinical scenario.
